Kαλώς ορίσατε (welcome) to Olive Grove Greek Dressing! Our recipe was created by the late Peter Spyridakos, who was born in Paleopanagia, a small village in Greece, and immigrated to the United States with his family in 1975.
Once in the U.S., Pete found himself missing the tastes of home, so when he purchased The Fireplace restaurant in 1978, he decided to bring the fresh and savory flavors of the village to his customers.
His most popular menu item was perhaps the simplest—homemade Greek salad dressing, a traditional blend of oregano, olive oil, lemon juice and garlic. Due to popular demand, The Fireplace began bottling its signature dressing for customers to take home. While Pete always dreamed of expanding the market for his dressing, spreading his love of Greek cooking and flavor across the country, he passed away before this dream could be fulfilled. Still, his family decided to do everything they could to carry out that dream in his memory, and are proud to announce that Olive Grove Greek Dressing is now available for order to locations across the country.
